A range of lacquers for finishing guitar necks, specifically intended for maple necks. The clear top coat lacquer is formulated to feel smooth when playing, without the stickiness of standard nitro. The three lightly tinted lacquers - Amber, Honey and Tobacco - are for giving an instant aged effect to maple guitar necks, to take away the stark whiteness of new maple and give it a bit of colour.
Neck Tint Amber is a yellow-amber colour akin to newly made vintage-style necks.
Neck Tint Honey is an amber-brown honey colour, less bright and yellow than the amber, less brown than the tobacco.
Neck Tint Tobacco is a light brown colour which is closer to actual aged old lacquer which has darkened over the years.
Available in aerosol spray cans, 250ml and 1 litre bottles.
Tobacco Tinted Fender Neck

I've used amber from another supplier previously which was good but a bit "too aged" and orange'ish.
Simon advised me that the Tobacco would be more like the natural aged maple look.
He was spot on.
Much softer tint and after the first 2-3 coats I was thinking I'd need another aerosol.
By the next day the neck had darkened a little and after 4 days is just right.
The aerosol did stop spraying when half full but recovered within a few shakes and presses.
I haven't found another tint anywhere near this one so it appears to be the best on the market!
